Analyzing a poem In this poem there are 17 lines, it is not a long poem it is a short poem. The poem says many things like what is death and it is explained on how Paolo (the person who wrote the poem) thinks of death. The Speaker is Paolo. The Poem is structured really well; it is short and informative, it is also very interesting on what Paolo thinks of death. The Poem has a very interesting sound; the sound is a slow sound like a funeral sound. I think it sounds like this because the song is about death.
